February 13th is Galentine’s Day, so I figured I’d take a moment to talk about women’s heart health. Did you know that cardiovascular disease is the number one killer of women, causing one in three deaths each year? Heart disease and stroke can often be mitigated through diet, exercise, and lifestyle changes. However, the best way to help prevent cardiovascular disease and stroke is through education and research.
That’s why I’m raising funds for the American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women campaign. All funds raised will directly support education and research for women’s heart health. If you would like to support your favorite gal pals, please follow my link. Happy Galentine’s Day!
