Tony Bickel

Tony is a DBL Law partner practicing in a broad range of transactional matters, including commercial finance, corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and leasing and real estate acquisitions. He is admitted to practice law in Ohio and Kentucky.

Tony’s commercial finance practice includes representing lenders and borrowers on all aspects of commercial finance transactions, including complex multi-jurisdictional real estate-secured loans, construction loans, asset-based financings, acquisition financings, participations and syndications, tax credit financings, and inter-company debt solutions. His client experience includes local, regional, and national banks, life insurance companies, small and middle market private companies, and large public companies.

Tony’s corporate practice includes leading mergers and acquisitions, drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, and counseling clients on corporate governance and other general business needs. Tony advises clients ranging from small family-owned and middle market private companies to large public companies. Many of Tony’s small and middle market clients do not have internal legal counsel, and he provides those companies with general outside counsel services for day-to-day business operations. He takes pride in learning a company’s products, internal structures, business preferences, and risk tolerance to allow him to function as an integral member of the team.

In his real estate practice, Tony advises developers, investors, and tenants in real estate acquisitions and divestitures, leasing matters, and all related financings. Tony has closed transactions and leasing matters involving multifamily properties, office buildings, retail centers, franchises, industrial facilities, and healthcare facilities. Representative clients include developers, investors, healthcare institutions, small and medium sized businesses, and large public companies.

Prior to joining DBL Law, Tony was a partner in a large law firm based out of Cincinnati, Ohio.
