COVINGTON, KY – DBL Law is pleased to announce that David Kramer, Chair of the firm’s Civil Litigation Practice Group, has been named to the Top 10 2023 Kentucky Super Lawyers® List for the third time. Super Lawyers designated him Number 2 of the Top 10 for 2023 and Number 1 for 2022. Before being named to the Top 10 List, he had previously been named one of the Top 50 Kentucky Super Lawyers on two occasions. Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters business, is a service that rates lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The annual selections are made using a patented multiphase process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates, and peer reviews by practice area.
In addition, the Kentucky Supreme Court has appointed David to the Court’s Civil Rules Committee, which advises the Court on amendments to the Kentucky Rules of Civil Procedure. David is the author of the Kentucky Practice Series’ two-volume treatise on the Kentucky Rules of Civil Procedure. The treatise, which is updated annually, is widely regarded as the leading reference on the Kentucky Civil Rules.
Finally, David has been named to a panel of the Kentucky Chapter of the American College of Trial Lawyers that will present a program on legal ethics and jury selection at the June 2023 Kentucky Bar Association Convention in Lexington. David was inducted as a Fellow of the College in 2019. The College is comprised of pre-eminent members of the trial bar from the U.S. and Canada and is dedicated to maintaining and improving standards of trial practice, professionalism, legal ethics and the administration of justice. Fellowship is extended only by invitation based on thorough peer review to experienced trial lawyers who have mastered the art of advocacy and whose professional careers have been marked by the highest standards of ethical conduct, professionalism, civility and collegiality. Less than 1% of the total lawyer population in any state or province can be named Fellows.
