Mentoring Plus has added DBL Law attorney Joey Kramer to its Board of Directors. The nonprofit organization is dedicated to empowering disadvantaged youth and their families to fulfill their potential and to contribute to the well-being of the community by forming relationships based on mutual trust, compassion, and respect.
Joey is an associate attorney practicing in DBL Law’s Civil Litigation and Construction practice groups. Joey joined DBL Law as a summer associate in May 2015 and is based in the firm’s Northern Kentucky office.
Joey obtained his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Kentucky College of Law in 2016, where he graduated cum laude. While at the UK College of Law, Joey served as a senior staff member of the Kentucky Law Journal and received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Civil Procedure.
Joey obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Kentucky Wesleyan College, where he graduated summa cum laude in 2013. While at Kentucky Wesleyan, Joey was a four-year letterman on the football team. He also served on the President’s Roundtable Committee and was a KW1101 Leader, mentoring students and leading seminars during freshman orientation. He was honored by the college as recipient of the Oak and Ivy Award, the most prestigious leadership and academic award at Kentucky Wesleyan, and as a recipient of the Business Studies Department Award. While attending Kentucky Wesleyan, Joey worked at the Cliff Hagan Boys & Girls Club.
A native of Owensboro, Kentucky, Joey is admitted to practice law in Ohio and Kentucky. He resides in Park Hills, Kentucky.
